Our History
While I lived in Bosnia, my mom worked as a hairstylist and my dad was a professional soccer player. When I was four years old, the war started in my country, and times were incredibly tough. Even during those hard days, my mom continued working as a hairstylist.
That’s where my story with hair truly began. Because of the war, my mom started doing hair in our kitchen at home. I watched her work up close and saw the passion she had for what she did. She became my biggest inspiration to one day do hair myself.
Even in the darkest times, she always made sure our family was taken care of.For that, I will forever be grateful. Years later, when it came time to choose a school path, I decided to study to be an electrician.
To this day, I still ask myself why I made that choice. After finishing school at 17, my family and I moved to Italy to start a better life. I continued working as an electrician for four years in Italy. Eventually, I realized this career didn’t make me happy.
At 21, I lost my job and didn’t know what to do next. My mom was then working at a well-known salon in Italy called Art Petè. She offered me a seasonal job before Christmas to help around the salon and make some money.
At the time, I didn’t know she had other plans for me and my future.She saw something in me long before I did.That’s how everything began in December of 2008.
At first, I was unsure about the idea but decided to take the challenge.Without any experience or schooling, the first days were tough.
I didn’t even know how to properly wash hair.But soon, I became fascinated by the creativity and artistry of hairstyling.
I started seeing myself taking this path seriously, and I never looked back.It took a lot of hard work to prove myself and earn respect from my coworkers.
For the first five years, I worked as a barber doing men’s hair. Over time, my love for hair coloring grew, and I started creating my own techniques. I made many mistakes in the beginning, but they helped me learn and grow. Today, I continue to learn,
share my work with the world, and I’m grateful for how far I’ve come.
